I have had in the past month two fish that seem to have blood on there face buy their eye. It's quite a large patch and then begins to swell and look like a tumor, finally they die. The first one was a swordtail and the second one was an angel. I didn't know what the problem was so I treated it with an all purpose medication, Lifeguard. That apparently didn't work. Does any one know the problem and how I treat it?

Sounds like it could be a bacterial infection of some kind. I'd try a combination of Mardel's Maracyn and Maracyn II. This will treat both gram positive and gram negative types of bacteria. Mark
