I have a stand of Green Wendtii in one of my 20h's that goes the entire 2" length of the tank. What's interesting is that the plants in a very strong current area look more robust, with bigger broader leaves with very short petioles and lots more brown and red tones in the leaf color itself.
The same plants in a very low current area have much smaller leaves, much longer petioles and much greener leaves. They all receive the same amount of light, neither group is shaded and their growth rates are the same.
I'ved noticed how the one group has adapted and changed over time since I added a much stronger circulation pump.
Well, I think it's interesting anyway.
