I am wanting to make a canopy for my 125 gal. I have 2 coralife lights on my tank and I really need a better way to house them. The way the tank is there is no way to use the stands for them, since there is no center brace where I would need it. Anyway, maintenance right now isn't ideal. I still plan to use the current glass lids inside the canopy. Not concerned about height. I have to use a step stool now as it is. LOL! Being new to canopy's I have no idea where to start. I'm thinking it needs some sort of shelf for the lights. Right? Can anyone point me to directions for building a canopy? I did a search here but so far haven't found what I'm looking for. Oh yeah, It's for a freshwater tank.
