Hey Guys,

Just picked this little guy up from my lfs. Im usually pretty good about avoiding impulse buys but this guys was just to cute to pass up. He's around .75in, and when I asked they weren't sure if he was a baby or a dwarf species. Im not sure if these you will be able to tell from these pictures but any help on the id would be great. Thanks!

Thanks guys. I thought that might be it but Im really new to inverts so I wasn't sure.

Most of the LFS's in my area never have a detailed species description for crayfish. It'll just say "blue lobster" or something like that.

Just be careful as they can get relatively big in a short period of time. I bought one once and had to give it back to the store a few months later because it outgrew my tank.
