just wondering if anyones had any experience with these fish being aggressive? the ones i have have chased my rummy nose to the point that all they do is hide, even during feeding time. these silvertips seem to have quite a bit of aggression.
I have 4 silver tips in my tank. I just added 3 rummy nose tetras and so far so good. The rummy noses will stay school together and get chased a bit but nothing drastic. The bigger the single group of silver tips the more they stick to chasing each other.
Just so you know the algae eater and pleco will eventually need a new home. Both can get to at least 10 inches if not more.
As for the silver tips I don't knwo if there is much you can do. Your tank is at stocking limits. As long as the rummies aren't being physically hurt then hopefully they will get used to the tank situation.
