is this stock list going to work in my 110 g. planted tank?

My tank has a 4 by 2 foot footprint and is 110 gallons, planted community, lots of plants and driftwood.
Currently I have the following:
6 bn plecos
4 small angelfish
3 bolivian rams
1 cardnial tetra, friends died
1 neon tetra, friends died
1 corry cat, friends died.

There was some sickness a month ago and a bunch of the tetras and corries died, but tank is stable now.

Today I went to petsmart and purchased the following for 80 cents each:
13 giant danios
9 bleeding heart tetras

And 2 tiny oto algae eaters that were $2 something each

Did I mess up and buy too many fish? The new guys are in qt now and I'll continue to monitor the water parimeters to make sure it doesn't spike.

Oh yeah I also have a bid in on 3 true siamese algae eaters with the option of buying more.
I was thinking I also wanted some congo tetras down the line.

Should I plan on rehoming some of my stock, if so who and what should go?

I decided against adding any more neons or cardnials and plan on giving them to a good home.

Maybe the cardinal and neon will seek comfort in the group of bleeding hart tetras you bought. I know my 8 neons hang with the 4 blood-fin tetras in with them.

I know you just had a disaster with your 20g QT, but man I'd hate to run the risk of plunking 22, $0.88 petsmart fish into a 110g and infecting the whole thing with something.

IMO, that's not too many fish for a 110, just a lot of potential illness. Watch'em closely.

No my QT tank has successfully been transferred into a large Rubbermaid storage bin and that's where all the new stock are currently residing for at least 4 weeks, I'm considering proactively treating the fish for possible disease and stuff since I really can't observe them in there from the top

Sweet! That's all you need for a QT. A plastic tote. Cheap and easy.

Your avatar pic is priceless LOL.

so after the new guys get out of qt next month my stockist will be:
6 bn plecos
4 small angelfish
3 bolivian rams
1 corry cat, friends died.
13 giant danios
9 bleeding heart tetras
6 true Siamese Algae Eaters

I was thinking I would try to add a group of Congo Tetras in the future but maybe I have too many silvery/ iridescent fish?

I saw some cool stuff today at Moby ****'s pet store that might be a better choice, like Odessa Barbs?

I'm not sure if these giant danios were a good idea.

I decided to slowly start moving some fish into my display, a few fish per week, so I don't shock my system too much, and I'm not sure there going to work out.

Pros: love there subtle looks, the light plays off them nicely.

Love how they use the top of the tank.

Love their tight schooling.

Cons: they are crazy active, even at 4 am I can tell they're zipping all over the place spazing out.

So while I love that they use the top layer, now all my other fish are on the bottom and not even using the middle anymore.

My angels look annoyed and are hanging together on the sidelines now

Hmm, maybe I should trade em in for Zebra danios or H. rasporias or some other top level fish.

Or again, I really wanted congo tetras, maybe they would be alittle more managable? The giant danios can stay in my qt tank untill I get another tank for them if need be

The Giant Danio will disrupt the "Harmony" of a peaceful tank. Also IMO the Congos will not be any better in a tank with Angels.

PS--The Bleeding hearts will grow very big, I have some in my tank and they are huge.

update, i netted the giant danios back out of the display this morning before the sun came up with a flashlight. It was surprisingly easy for how fast these guys are. I was laying in bed thinking about my unhappy Angels and I decided that I'll save the giant danios for the 40 breeder I plan to set up and do a fast current river tank, perhaps with the congo tetras too? or trade em or something, but I didn't like how my other fish were acting with the giant danios in there.

Would Zebra tetras be better or maybe some of those dwarf rainbow fish? I want a top level school what won't stress the other fish out too much
