So it's a standard 90G with 24" height. The rims take away about 2.5-3" of viewable area.
So what I was thinking, between that and about 3-4" of sand, is it worth spending 20-30% more to get the additional four inches? Or would it be better to position it such that between the gravel and the rims, I can get away with 20" background?
