Driftwood shortage?

I was at a LFS recently and asked where the driftwood was- they responded that they can't get it anymore (at least the large pieces, they did have a few small pieces)- anyone else heard about this ?

I haven't seen any issues in my area..and there is plenty of driftwood on line as well
