Fish fry with triops?

So, I got one of those triops kits (the Smithsonian brand) and now I ended up with one triop and a bunch of daphnia. I decided to keep the starter tank, replaced the sand with gravel from my goldfish tank, and got two bits of Elodea I bought from a pet store. Several days later, I saw two tiny wiggly things that looked a lot like fish fry. Fastforward two-three days later, all of my daphnia are gone (I'm sure my triop didn't eat them) and one of the wiggly things were too. My question is, what kind of fish might they be?
