Well I'm getting close to stocking the African cichlids tank I'm starting, but I'm having a hard time finding the cichlids formula at my local fish stores.
Seems everyone just carries the small, medium, large formulas.
I used to use the cichlids formula years ago and loved it.

I guess my question is: what's the difference? And should I order the cichlids formula online or just use the other formulas at my lfs?

Maybe the protein contents are different between the general tropical and cichlid formula? Dunno.

I recently bought a ~$8 gar of NLS 1mm cichlid pellets from my LFS given he said that's what they feed all their little cichlids. My little oscar might take one every so often, but my little green severum sucks 'em in and spits 'em back out. Annoying!
