Found some big driftwood that has been submerged in our local lake for a few years. It looks like it is mesquite, and it is HUGE. Anyone have any good ideas on what to do with it? The larger of the two pieces is 58", and the shorter one is 52", but a piece could be broken off of the end to put it at 43"

+1 or maybe even keep them that size and find someone with a big fish tank who may want them. Big pieces are pricey... At best

Correct me if I'm wrong but having two large pieces of driftwood with such a good personal story is cause to get a tank big enough to hold them.

It's not my photo but you could still stand the wood up high out of the water and grow plenty on that, too.
