Are there any cichlids (other than angels) that are peaceful enough for a community tank with platys, guppies, mollies, etc.?

Rams or some of the other S.A. dwarf cichlids should be peaceful enough, but I'm not sure that water conditions would be the same for them and live-bearers. Blue Rams at least, need soft, warm, acidic water. I think that the Bolivian Rams and a few of the apistos do okay in more neutral water. What are your water parameters?

I would look into both german and bolivian rams along with several of the apistos species of fish. Bolivian rams would probably fit your tank better than german rams as stated previously. As for any apistos I'd recommend you research what you can find in your area individually.
