Poso Snail Producing in Tank? (Does F1 Poso give baby?)

Dearl all,

I am from Turkey and I really like those Poso snail varierties (aka Tylomelaniasnails). During my search over internet, I noticed that most of the breeders have babies from F0 poso snails. But I did not see anybody who has grown up those F1 babies and have babies from F1.

May I ask your opinion and experience about it please?

Thank you for your reply. I hope F1 is giving birth. Did you hear anyone that you have given F1 babies grown up and give babies?

Also my I kindly ask what is your water parameters that you keep posos in ie PH, TDS, temp, GH, KH etc... Do you use tap water or RO water?

By the way, I have read Amazonas Magazine about these beautiful snails and it's saying that not all Posos live in warm water.

ie some species like "thunderbolt tylomelania" (a picture below) live in colder water around 22/23 C.

Thank you. So do you mean that people feed chocolate posos in low temps compared to Orange or Yellow posos?
