red near gills (pics), do you know what it is?

Hi, for a week this rasbora has had red near gills just on one side
do you know what it is?

Water conditions perfect, no other fish sick.
Also the sick rasbora doesn't act sick. I have isolated him as a precaution

not seen him rub on anything, just happy playing away with the other rasboras
until I isolated him. Now he just looks bored all the time

one more thing I forgot to add (sorry)
The red did start on his other side but that side went away after a few 1hr dips with seachem paraguard
The side you see in the shots stays the same.
I'm still doing the dips, he's had about 5 dips in the last 7 days
