Hey guys picked up a new plant off my buddy after he did some trimming.
Can you guys please Id it for me.

Also i noticed that there is this little green stringy looking stuff on the plants. Any ways or ideas to get ride of it with out harming the plant.

Any way to get rid of the algae

Not really. Any "dips" strong enough to kill algae will almost certainly harm plants. If the light/nutrient balance in the aquarium is in sync, the algae will not increase and after new growth you can trim off the old if you like.
