So I got some new plants in the mail the other day. I decided it was time for a remodel in my 30 gallon in the living room. I am not sure I am completely in love with it, but it is a nice change.

Looks ok. Personally, I'd move the crypt to the back of the tank and make a few bunched areas of the thinner grass plants and leave some bare areas of bottom. Just my 2 pennies.

Looks really good either way!

I like a lot of floating plants like (the water sprite?) in your original setup. It mutes out much of the super bright light for a more natural look IMO.
