Hi,
I just got my first orange tylo snails. I have been reading up on their care, but would welcome any tips or tricks anyone has for me. My tank is already hard water with a pH that reads 8.8 with the API high test so it could be higher than that, temp 80 to 82 right now because of my room temp in AZ is high during the day, drops to 78-80 at night with the heater. I have a some cuttle bone in there for calcium in case I don't have enough calcium in the water. I suspect I don't because in the past I have needed more to prevent pitting in snail shells with my water. I have snail jello and veggies of course. My tank is planted with a sand bottom and snail friendly tank mates. It's been running for years. Any other ideas? I'll post pictures after I get them acclimated and they are cruising around
Thanks for any help!!!
Michele
