My G/F recently put an aggressive female betta into my smaller heavy planted tank, which houses some cories, ottos and a male betta, and wouldnt ya know it, within a day or so, bubble nest is made and she was literally popping the eggs out.
And we have been trying to breed these two for awhile.
Seems with little to no human interaction they just boinked on their own! lol
I will let you guys know on the fry situation!

Jts a good thing your bettas felt like "boinking" when they encountered each other in this tank, otherwise you might have ended up with a dead or at least bedraggled betta.

good luck with the fry though, betta fry can be difficult to keep alive especially for the first time so I hope all goes well with them.
