Hi, I have just joined Aquaria Central. I had been looking at the forum reading through various posts with information on Hole in the Head Disease. I have a blood Parrot who has it.
Medication is really hard to come by in Australia for this disease, so is a vet who has any knowledge about it. I was lucky to finally find one who did not want me to bring the fish out in the cold and was happy to prescribe Flagyl for my fish.
After nearly two weeks, he is looking much better, his holes are healing and he is eating well. Just thought that I would share that with you.
