Hello all, I will like to share with you this planted aquarium, although I don't have this tank anymore, I started this in March 2014 but 2 months later I upgraded to a new and bigger tank, I had this just for 2 months.

I will mention the name of some of the plants below the pictures, this is my first entry here, hope you like it! Regards.

Plants: H. polysperma, marsilea hirsuta, H pinnatifida, limnophila sessiliflora, Ludwigia repens, Ludwigia arcuata, Lilaeopsis brasiliensis, P. helferi, E. vesuvius, micranthemum umbrosum, glossostigma elatinoides, Rotala rotundifolia and crinum calamistratum

The progress, about 40 days later, I had a little problem with a kind of Cyanobacteria at the beginning, not a big deal.

added plants: Aponogeton crispus green (it becomes huge for 20 gal), A. fenestralis (big), Pogostemon Stellatus, Alternanthera reinickii (some stems of micranthemum micranthemoides and eichornia diversifolia)

It was incredible! Nicely done!

Thank you men, I know that most of the plants are easy and fast growing but this was my first planted tank, By the way I'm from Costa Rica, we have limited access for the rare and uncommon plants due to the regulations.

Just because you only have access to common plants doesn't mean that you can't have a great planted tank as evidenced by yours!

Any pics of your upgrade?

Very nice! What lighting were you using?

Will your new larger tank be planted too? It will be easier to maintain tall plants in a taller tank.

Hello Fishorama, I use LED in all my tanks, all of them planted, I fix my own lamps, will talk about tall plants in other post, please see:
