I'm sittin' at my desk waitin' for quittin' time and notice all the clocks have stopped moving. 4:30 refuses to show itself.
Tomorrow there's a local event called Bayoufest. Rides and activities for the kids, barbecue cookoff, horseshoes, pumpkin-carvin' contest. I'm takin' my granddaughter...she's entering in the Kidfish Tournament. Last year she caught the biggest speckled trout and got her picture in the paper.
I'm lucky she still wants to go to the festival with me since she just turned 13. Her interests don't include grandpaws these days. I understand.
So what are y'all doin' this weekend?
