This was clear cell footage of a typical end of photoperiod

the fish chases and eats a copepod at fifty seconds look at the zeroing behavior
daily, going on six months and he constantly eats leaf litter and molts from shrimp

there are nine neocaridina blue velvet shrimp and the system is highly plant productive. Natural leaf decay and constant copepod production make this system require feeding once every few months, the male wild type guppy is especially suited to the tank, I can't think of any more appropriate upgrade of destiny for a feeder fish

normally you wouldn't keep fish in a tank this small but special circumstances apply here. Without it the system will fill with a thousand suspended Copepods.

the productivity is exceptionally high for both benthic and epiphytic life, traders of shrimp import quite an array. The inclusion of a single Marimo moss ball brings in potentially hundreds of seed creatures. I change all water weekly

the tank has no circulation or heating but does run fanned

the top is sealed until its lifted for service or feeding so it doesn't evaporate or exchange much with outside air, all are points of independence

light in mini hood is 9 w power compact 6500k

When you look at this through a large magnifying glass it was intended to look larger than 1/2 gallon

like seeing an umbrella tree next to a boulder image.jpg

these tubes are in the rear of the tank at the end of the video

they capture and hold the right amount of co2 gas and auto refill twice per day off paintball injector. 12 oz last 2 years

photoperiod

gas on at two pm displaces all water from inverted API tubes in pan flute array so one input fills the rest in step.

lights on three pm
gas on 1 min refill tubes at seven pm
lights off 1 am tubes are 90% filled with water, see the daily cycle? Thats the breathing of the micro tank we see in this film above

this shot shows the gas in the tubes as a small bubble at the end of the photoperiod, the gas starts the day filling the tube all the way but dissolves, creates a vacuum in each tube and brings in water at the same rate each day, five hours for one tube api of co2 to dissolve

five tubes in half gallon gets me acceptable carpeting co2 levels
