Is my nerite snail being picked on?

Hi guys,
I think my nerite snails are being picked on by my betta. Here are some pictures:

The edges of the 'foot' looked chewed up.

Is the Betta the only fish with the snail? I've never known a Betta to behave like that, so you may want to check out invert diseases.

Patti, I've never had luck with bettas (male or female) along with snails. They'd nip at them. Everyone's experiences will vary with this though.

I guess we both have snail nipping bettas! Caught Cosmo nipping at both of my nerite snails :( :what:

That may very well be the reason why my snails don't come out when the lights are on anymore!!! :mad:
