I am in the process of cycling a new 60g tank and would like opinions of the fish community I am planning on creating. I am also a little confused on which ones I should put in place first. Any suggestions would be very appreciated.

Angelfish - 4
Gouramis - 2
Silver Dollar - 3
Cory Catfish - 2
Tetras - 7

Hi Brad. Cory catfish really need to be in groups of 6 or more. They can stress to death if they dont have enough buddies. Silver Dollars are very pretty fish, but just be aware that they will munch any live plants you have in there. Also, make sure all of your tetras are the same species and are of a larger variety. Adult angelfish prey on neon tetras in the wild, so that should give you an idea of what types of tetras are too small.

What types of gouramis? Males will generally fight each other.

That's good. Yes, cories should be in groups of 6+. I'd just get one female pearl though.
