Major water change and heavy vac first...bring temp up to 86 over 12-24 hrs. Shoot for 2 tsp per gallon, well dissolved in heated tank water, letting it cool to tank temp...add about a fourth every 2-3 hrs. Ich will get worse before it gets better and you may experience casualties just from the treatment.

Thanks! I'll get on the water change and vac once I get back from grabbing some salt and start raising the temp.

Is that ammonia a normal occurrence, or a spike since the new fish were added?

Definitely want that as low as possible right now since you don't want your fish any more stressed than the ich already has them.

In addition to what Rb suggested, make sure you have a good amount of circulation/aeration since raising the temp lowers dissolved O2.

The ammonia is a spike since I added the new fish, I've got an air stone in and good flow from my filter so I should be ok there but I'll keep an eye on it and add more if I notice issues.... So table salt is good? Saves a bit of money lol should I remove the decorations or are they ok to be in there? The catfish hide in them during the day so it might stress them out if they had no where to go

Once you have the water at the concentration desired, you leave it there. If you do a water change, make sure the replacement water is at the same concentration. Maintain for 7-10 days after all visible signs of ich are gone.
