My girlfriend is going to get a 55 gallon tank. Would it be appropriate to get a black ghost knife fish? Could she mix it with a comet goldfish and two fantails if they are above 3 inches? And finally do they mostly eat live foods?

mind love the shrimp pellet stick things...
I had one in a 55 for about 2 years or so, cute looking fish, face like a horse
likes to hide all the time, so consider that before you buy it...its not gonna swim around unless you scare it...
personally I'd never buy one again as they are always hiding...
