Hey anyone here live in WI and know of any good fish stores in WI? Preferably lakeside. I live in Sheboygn so most places are only an hour away. I"m looking more for marine stuff but I figured usually if they keep good freshwater then they keep good sw as well. I'm now trying to keep both.

Hello there!

I live in the Milwaukee area, and buy all my fish at Pets 'n Things in Cudahy. It's a small store with very knowledgable staff. Their assortment isn't that big, but they will order for you. If the fish they get for you don't look good, they won't make you take them.

A very nice looking store is on Hwy 100, can't quite remember the name, but it's huge. Let me know if you need me to find out the name. They have a lot of saltwater fish, as well as a tank with some huge fish to show people how big they get. Very impressive. Don't know much about their staff, just went in to browse and look for Puffer fish.

Yes please try to find a name. I want to try and see if they have a website that I can visit and get an idea of their prices before I have to visit the store. It would save me a lot of driving and time.

Hoffer's Tropic Life on 76th and Good Hope on the north side is the best display in Milwaukee, IMO. Bit pricey but everything usually looks great and a large selection. Good herps also. Worth a stop just to look.

Not a bad store-decent variety and good health-not a whole lot of different stuff when I was there. Big old gator as store pet.

Downtown. Website looks a whole lot better than the store. Did not notice the marine too much but the fresh was nothing special except for some nice fancy goldfish when I was there. The 4000 gal. shark tank is underwhelming-built out of cinder blocks underneath display racks.

I agree with the comments on Pet N Things-great small store, good selection and some of the best prices around.
