they look a bit pale to be a green tiger barb, unless like hans said an albino thats been dyed.

that's the most bizarre dye job I have ever seen- why would they dye green a species that occurs naturally green?

Before I bought them, I considered that they might be dyed but i don't know anything about that but I considered this: the albino barbs were about $4.00 and these were about $5.00. Would they go through the effort and cost of dying them just to make an extra buck a fish? Also, their fins and lips are orange and there body is green. Can they be dyed like that?
