Hi, I bought three "neon green barbs" from petland. I was wondering if that is there real name or if not, what is it?

I agree, the normal greens are a lot darker than that.... these are totally dyed fish..... what will they come up with next with these dyed fish ideas...
that's the most bizarre dye job I have ever seen- why would they dye green a species that occurs naturally green?
Before I bought them, I considered that they might be dyed but i don't know anything about that but I considered this: the albino barbs were about $4.00 and these were about $5.00. Would they go through the effort and cost of dying them just to make an extra buck a fish? Also, their fins and lips are orange and there body is green. Can they be dyed like that?
