I decided to risk the pH crash that could result from putting wood in my low KH tank since I couldn't stand the huge fake wood decoration I had. It was tough to get around with the vac and it was hollow so I would never see some of my fish since they'd hide in there forever. I found this nice piece of wood and got a few more amazon swords to help fill in the back. What do you think?

just seen your link. clown pleco will be happier with the real wood.

love the betta tank:bowing: :bowing:
Thanks. The fish in it are:

7 Long finned Zebra Danios
7 Pygmy Corydoras
1 Clown Pleco
6 Khuli Loaches
7 Amano Shrimp
2 Ghost Shrimp

Everyone always loves the hex tank : ) Funny thing is, as pretty as it is, its my easiest tank. Biweekly water changes and that's about it.

I like it too! Your fake wood didn't look fake to me, but your pleco will be happier w/ the real stuff I bet!

Actually I was impressed with the realism of the old piece. It was the fact that the fish were constantly hiding in there and just how much space it took up that finally got to me.

The clown (George) has already taken to the wood :)
