I have a couple question for this post. My First is about the breeding process of the Jack Dempsey(s). When they're 'interested' in each other and are ready to breed, do they clean/move the rock away from the laying area? I have bred Convicts before and they do this.
My second question is.. Does the female's color pattern change? Her Color(s) seem to be alot darker lately. I figured this was a sign of stress from the male bugging her. Here is a picture of the Female, w/ the color I'm talking about. (She's the one on the Right.)
One more question.. Does the females "gut" swell up? (As if there were eggs.)
