I'm helping one of my favorite teachers on the face of the planet set up tons of tanks for her classroom! She's inherited around 7 small 10 Gallon tanks, and a larger tank with VERY odd dimensions, that may possibly be a 30 long? I was in her class last year and she knew I love to set up tanks (I have 3) so when she inherited all of these, she got in touch with me!

It turns out, she's got a lot of cool ideas for her tanks. She isn't excluding herself to fish, she also wants to set up biome specific tanks for plants and reptiles.

In the largest tank, the 30 Long (possibly?) she wants to set up a terrarium/paludarium. I don't exactly know the difference of the two, but you get the general idea, half water, half land. So, I am ready to undertake this task (nothing enormous, we're on a limited budget....it's school people! Money doesn't grow in our courtyard...or in the Florida school system). I wanted to start here for the best way to execute this project. I began my aquarium hobbyist journey here at AC, and I've been gone at RC for a while, but it's always good to be home.

I hope to find some great info here, any help? links? pics? advice?

The thirty gal long is commonly used for small turtle habitat that have water and land needs. There are some websites that would be helpful, try this one: http://www.petturtle.com/
