i have a clown that has out grown his tank i bought him when he was about 2" now he is 11" i have him in a 45 gal. hex so he can still move around really well but he needs bigger. i would be glade to trade someone or just ship him off you pay the shipping . stores he would sale him for about 75.00 but i know the prices here are very over priced so please be kind also my three year old doughter named him after her "Sam"

nope hes been a brackish from the start at my home. lps said he was brak so what do i know hes just fine in there like i said he disapired for about 2 weeks when he came out he was 2 times the size he was when he disapired all my tanks are brak

It may be in a BW tank, but these fish come from dark, acidic, soft freshwater. What specific gravity do you keep your BW tanks at?

i dont ever and havent tested for gravity but i do 30% change about once a month and about 3 tsp. prer gal a month maybe i need to be more into it but i never have had to .besides most of the lps here dont even know what brackish means . thanks for all the good ideas hopefully i can really expand my set ups

1 tbsp/gal isn't BW, only slightly salted water. True BW is 1.005 SG & over. That's probably why your knife hasn't been bothered by the salt. If you want BW, you'll need a hydrometer. Just curious, how old are you? :)

man why have i had no problems with any of the other fish in my tank GS puffer, the clown knife , FW moray , shovel nose cat ?? its a 45 hex what should i be putting in ? what does my age have to do with it ? thank you for all your help this is just the piler of info i have been loking for
