Hello,
I was away from my dorm room 5 gallon and it's two ghost shrimp for a few weeks. Upon returning, I discovered that the larger of the two appears to have eggs underneath it. Is there anything I should do here, or can I just sit back and see what "develops"? I have a good amount of java moss in he tank and a banana plant that is coming along, so should I assume the tiny shrimp can find food for themselves? There are no other fish in the tank, though I'd like to add a betta. Generic, yes, but still pretty cool.
Thanks,
~MattJ

ghost shrimp hatch into a very tiny free floating form that makes ideal food for almost any fish. these hatchlings won't hide in your plants, they just float around. it is very difficult to raise ghost shrimp, you almost have a species only tank for that purpose.
good luck
:)
