what would happen if i put maybe twenty % water from the great salt lake in my tank nothing lives in it but brime shrimp (the lake) just wondering if it would be a plus to have the natrial salt or if i should just keep the sea salt ?

My understanding is that the synthetic sea salts on today's market do a wonderful job of replicating natural sea water, and if you were to go and get natural water you would risk introducing bacteria, diseases, parasites, etc. all for little to no gain. Now it's not impossible to make something like that work, but it is much more inconvienent and risky.
