Hi, Does anyone know if orange eye long spine sea urchins eat SPS corals? I've noticed one of my staghorn corals looks like it's been eaten down one side like an ear of corn. I can only think of the sea urchin or the decorator crab that might do that. Everything else in my tank should be reef safe. All of my fish are reef safe. Any one know if sea urchins munch on SPS corals? thanks

Most are detrivores, and go more for algae. If starving, it might--but I would be more concerned about this being the work of a night-time predator--some types of worms will consume corals, and are only seen at night.
