Call it a stupid question, but I've heard of many people talking of using Barbs for algae control. I'm not sure which type of algae I have, but I recently bought cherry barbs. Would they be suited like the other barbs to eating the hair algae?
Also:
If I were to post pictures, could any of you classify my algae?
I know it's easy enough to remove with my fingers, but I'm rather remiss about removing it entirely.
