I have a Three Spot Gourami that has been showing signs of what I think is Velvet. He has what looks like gold flakes on his fins and sides. I have moved him into a sperate 10G tank and have applied Mardel CopperSafe medication to the water this past Tuesday. How long does this treatment usually take? Thus far the fish appears to be active and still eats very well, basicaly normal for him. Is there anything else I need to do to get him back to health?
