My 2 salmon cats 8" long & very happy until yesterday I woke up to notice they have a few raised white pin head sharp looking lumps randomly over the belly area & a few on back... Today worse they have raised lines on there belly & the lumps have kind of got a body slime on them now... plus the poor guys barbels are withering & floppy :sad rather than being firm & fresh ... I must say I've got treatment in the tank right now treating an Ich break out the treatment is Triple Sulfa my temp is 30C & my tank is 6x2x2 ... I did Ammonia Nitrite Nitrate test first 2 are zero but Nitrate is 10ppm ... I've lost 5 corydoras in two days plus 4 clown loaches :sad .... I am so sad about this, its a crying shame ... my clowns & cory's were gasping for air at top & mid tank ... I have several surface movement happening, my spray bar from canister filter & three bubble bars running ... this is very disheartening can anyone help me out here please ... can corydoras or Salmon cats get Ich??? can these two handle the hot temp & chemicals, these are all things that I've tossed around in my head ...
