Please Help me :(

I read somewhere that bottom dwellers like to burry themselves, and that they like sand. I have a 29-gallon tank, with gravel. I'd like to make some of it sand for a bottom dweller. I plan to get a few German Blue Rams, and something to eat algae.

My first question is will play sand work for my tank? Will it have any effects possible negative effects on the water or fish? If so, what kind of sand would you recommend?

My second question is, what type of algae eating fish would be good that would like the sand and get along with Blue Rams?

Thirdly, will a dwarf frog survive in the same tank with blue rams?

And lastly, I've got the gravel in there now, I'd like to add water now, and get that going and all, so I could get fish in it this weekend, but I don’t have sand as of right now. How hard would it be to add sand when the tank is full, and possible has fish?

Thanks
HC
