I would like to install a Bioforce 1000 pond canister filter to my freshwater 125 gallon planted tank. See link below.

The price seems good for a canister filter of that size.
I currently have 2 Magnum 350's running in series and have been using them for about 4 years now. Well, they have seen there time, and it is time to go.
So , I would like to use a larger canister filter, this one is 10" x 17"
tall, and would hook it up to a Quiet One water pump.
Since my Magnum's are located under my tank in a studded and drywalled stand, there would be no room for this combination.
I plan to relocate the filter system to a closet and install it there.
The head level the pump would be pumping to would be around 5 feet high and the 3/4 inch hose length would be around 10 feet each for send / return lines.
At that level of head, the pump should push around 600 gallons per hour. If this is too swift, I can use a smaller pump.
I'm thinking that a larger canister filter will need to be cleaned less often and have a larger area for bio organisms.
Any thoughts?
