--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hello,
My occeleris clown has developed some dark spots. "Freckles" are the best way I can describe them. They do not bulge out or hang, they seem as if they are part of the fish's coloring, except that they are on his orange area. I've found a reference to a similar condition refered to as "hyper-melanism" which was described as harmless. Also, possibly a reaction to coral or anenome stings, but I've only got a few zoos/buttons and mushrooms. I don't have a camera, so can't post a picture. If anyone has seen or heard of a similar condition, I'd appreciate any links or info. you can share.
