I have three Anglefish in a 125. See my sig. for other tankmates. The largest is about 4 inches tall and the other two are about 3 inches tall. It appears that two have paired off - the larger one and one of the smaller ones. Last night, the larger one was chasing the "oddball" around the tank incessantly. Today, seems things have calmed down. I would like to know what is the best course of action to take If it continues.

Do I remove the "oddball" and leave the pair?
Do I remove the large "troublemaker".
Do I add at least 3 more Angels to spread the aggression?

Any thoughts on the above or new ideas are welcome.

Thanks,
J

I'd remove the odd fish out. The pair is likely going to make life rough on any other angels--adding more will just spread the aggression out onto more fish.

I would remove the oddball as well..... the better (or stronger) Angel just may wind up killing the odd one or stressing him to death..... either way, it's not fair for they oddball.....

Yank him like you're startin a mower. If you leave him in he's a dead man as soon as the other two spawn.
