What the heck is this???!!!

Hi. I'm new to the hobby. I have a 72g bow front with cpr194 filter w/protien skimmer, coralife 9w uv sterilizer, 14lbs of live rock, 1 baby percula, 1 baby hippo tang, 1 diamond watchmand goby, 4 turbo snails, 10 nassarius snails, 2 blue legged hermits, 2 halloween hermits, 1 fire shrimp, 1 cleaner shrimp, one coaral bandad shrimp and a hell of alot of baby cleaner shrimp 2 weeks old all over the tank. So now that I've gotten that out of the way, I wanna know if anybody knows what the heck is this on my glass? :huh:

There's about 7 of them that appeared outta no where. Anyone know? Thanks!!! :help:

I think it is Coralline Algae...........

If so, it's a good thing.

You might want to get another 40-50lbs of either live or base rock though

Looks like a little medusa to me. Have a look at the photos of hydrozoan jellyfish in this link.

Thanks so much. Looks like it is hydrozoan jelly. Hmmm..interesting how they pop outta nowhere. Everyday is something new learned. Thank you both for the speedy help. I'll probably swipe them clean off the glass, if my tang or snails don't get them first. :thm:

Live rock is like Craker Jacks for aquarists, you never know what your going to get, and every day it's a new prize. :dance2:
