small garden pond

We moving into a new house next month and it has a small gold fish garden pond. The pond is approx. 4' x 4' and has 6 medium sized gold fish.

I have a lot of experience with freshwater aquariums but have never worked with a outdoor pond. Can someone recommend a good website/book for learning the basics of these systems.
