I was just wondering if it would be okay to get an ADF to put in with a Betta I have in a 2g tank? The tank has no filtration but I have been changing the water every second day. Also I was thinking of buying one of those little pump and filter kits for small tanks at Walmart. Any ideas if they would be adequate for my setup?

I think that'll be fine. Bettas and ADF's get along great. And that won't be pushing the bioload as long as you continue to do the water changes consistantly. I've heard of power filters that are tiny and can be used for small aquariums less than 5 gallons. I think you should be able to find one online and put it on that tank. I'm not sure how effective those little pump things are, but it looks like a type of sponge filter, and sponge filters are not effective as power filters.
