Hello All,

I just recieved 5 new angels yesterday which i recieved from DrsSmith&Foster. The first time i have boughtfish online... The fish have been in the tank now for about 12 hrs and seem to be doing O.K. but for some reason none of them are interested in eating? Is this normal?

Thanks,

Ryan

Sort of. Shipping (or any stress) can cause them to "go off food" for awhile. As I said, other stress (like unfavorable water conditions, be it poor water quality or just different from what they're use to) will do it.
If you haven't already, check to be sure your water quality is o.k.. If so, you might shoot Drs.F&S an email to request their water parameters and compare them to yours (pH, Hardness, etc...).
They should be feeding within a day or two. Watch for other signs of possible disease.
