I've heard that the older red sea prizm pro skimmer can be upgraded with the new(er) 18 blade impeller, which is supposedly quieter than the current 12 blade. Has anyone tried?

I have the new 18 blade impeller and it is quiet, but i never had the 12 so not sure how to compare it though.
