Combine the two technologies of these two websites, and you have something... incredible...

"I am certain that in time, HSS (Hypersonic Sound Speakers) will be used everywhere," says Ionyssis..

Timothy Hullar, assistant professor at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Mo., believes finding the right way to deliver an electromagnetic field to the ear at a distance could turn the technology into a weapon for situations where "killing isn't the best solution."

-----------

It's most likely being tested now. Or, at least something very similar.
Could there be a time when our own actions are not really controlled by ourselves?

OK, I guess I should explain one thing...

Imagine getting rid of the headphones - meaning the "long-ranged" speakers would be able to deliver the signals the headphones did... That would be pretty good 'human remote control'.

one could still refuse to walk if under the suggestions of such a device. The human mind is really adaptive and I suspect it is so unnerving because that type of input hasn't been experienced befor. It would aid captureing someone but in no way could force someone to do something without destroying who that person is.

As someone that has experienced other coercive devices and techniques I see this as possibly being a profound annoyance but not a threat to who I am and what I stand for.

I'm sure there's some sinister ways these 2 technologies can be used together.

A shopping mall would be a good place to see if a shopper can be unknowingly guided to a part of the mall.
