re hillstream loach

Hey Nice pics silverstein.
Btw did you know that hillstreams need much colder water thans clowns? They are best kept less than 76 degrees. Their're hemoglobin does not operate efficiently above that temp.

Hate to break it to you, but that is not a Yoyo Loach ;) Not that it makes much of a difference, but it seems to be of close resemblance, but not exactly a Yoyo. See, Yoyo's are called Yoyos because they actually say "yoyo" on their sides. Yours just has a big maze of squiggles LOL. I'm just saying that because they are my favorite fish, not because I want to burst your bubble. Don't worry, they are probably basically the same thing anyway, no worries :)

Kuhli - yes, I know - the tank is a bit of a challenge right now - I keep it at 76 degrees - which is suitable for all the inhabitants - but I know the hillstream would prefer lower temps than that. However, it has down well at the 76 degrees - and I do have lots of current as well as a bubble wand in the tank - both of which it enjoys
