i had this diy generator for 5 weeks and when i took it out it smelled like sh*t ((sorry 4 the bad language)) the bubble creating thngy had some fungus on it i dont know if this is normal or not but yea it really did smell bad i cant say it in words :sick: please could u tell me if this is normal for it to happen or not i threw it away casue i thought the fungas was bad...

Either the leak in the tubing, as Sly Marbo suggested, or a leak somewhere else.

What kind of tubing are you using? Regular airline will degrade and leak. Silicone will also degrade and leak, but it takes much longer for it to do so. The best tubing is ozone resistant tubing. It's made not supposed to degrade at all.

Elsewhere -- did you seal the holes you made with bathtub caulk or aquarium sealant?
